What qualifications are expected of a nanny applicant?

Each applicant that we refer will have significant experience as a nanny or will have worked in some other childcare capacity. You must have a true love of children and take great pride in providing high-quality, dedicated childcare. We place only those candidates who are willing to commit to a year or longer. All applicants must be a non-smoker and posses a reliable, insured car.

Do these jobs offer any additional benefits?

Most families offer vacation, holidays, and sick or personal days. Your job-related gas and mileage will be reimbursed. Many nannies we have placed receive incentive bonuses from families who were well pleased with their nannies' dedication and hard work. After a mutually agreed upon length of employment, some families may offer full or partial payment of health insurance.

Am I expected to pay any fees to My Nanny & Me, Inc.?

No, there is no agency or placement fee for the applicant. For the qualified applicant, our agency will seek to find a prospective family and facilitate the interview process. In addition, we will negotiate for the qualified applicant in regard to salary, benefits and job description. If you are placed with a family, we will provide a Work Agreement for the family and nanny. This Work Agreement will detail the applicant's job description and requirements, pay and benefits schedule, and other expectations of both the nanny and family.
