Who are the nannies?
Each nanny which we refer has significant experience as a nanny or has worked in some other childcare capacity for many years. They all have a true love of children and take great pride in providing high-quality, dedicated childcare.

How are they screened?
We thoroughly screen each applicant. Any nanny referred by our agency has submitted to the following checks: nanny services, newborn care, nanny substitutes, nanny, nanny finder, birmingham, alabama, nanny services, services, child care, newborn, newborn care, cathy shumaker, my nanny and me, inc, parent, family, the nanny finder

  • National criminal background check administered by a licensed private investigator
  • Minimum of six references (childcare and non-childcare related)
  • Driver's License validity and driving history
  • CPR certification
  • Negative tuberculosis (TB) skin test
  • Physician's statement of good health

    We Also Require:
  • A Minimum Age of 21
  • Proof of Auto Insurance
  • Work and Academic History
  • Work References
  • Character References

How are they paid?

Each of our nannies is an independent contractor, not an employee, until she is hired by a family. The average pay for a full-time nanny is between $8.00 and $14.00 an hour. (Payment of taxes is absolutely required. Which party actually pays them is to be negotiated between the two parties and should be clearly delineated in their contract.)

For full-time nanny placements, My Nanny & Me Inc. clients may select one of three different service options. No other nanny service in the Birmingham or nearby surrounding areas will give you quite the quality child care service that our service offers. With 3 very distinctive options, one can choose from very affordable rates of $450 - $1550. Please give us a call today for further details!

(If, within the contract period, you become dissatisfied with your nanny or she must leave her position, we will replace her one time.)
