Many years ago, Cathy Shumaker’s search for a nanny took her in a direction she did not expect. Little did she understand, the almost daunting amount of work required to find someone trustworthy was her greatest gifts. The difficulty she faced during her search taught her two things:
1.It is hard to find someone to trust.
2.The process can be grueling.
Cathy saw a need and felt drawn to fill it. After several years of research and prayer Cathy created My Nanny and Me, Inc. as a way to fill that need and serve her community. Cathy’s primary goal has always been to ensure that your child is cared for in a safe environment by someone she would trust with her own children.

She prides herself on her ability to explain the process of finding a nanny in a way that informs and puts fears to rest.
